Chevraya Bet
Bet, our chevraya for high school students, is a bit different from alef and zach, as Bet students are chanichim and also madrichim. Now, the once young chanichim are now the madrichim, ready to share their ideas and love with the alef and zach kids. It is now in the hands of the madrichim to bring their chanichim closer to what they love by remembering and building on what they were taught and the feelings instilled in them throughout chevraya alef and zach.
Yet the madrichim in bet are still chanichim, learning new ideas and lessons daily, and participating in intercity and in-town shabbatonim. It is in this stage in the Bnei Akiva experience that the once distant future because the near present. In Bet one prepares to go study in Israel with intentions of one day making Israel his / her home. Like the chanichim in zach, chevraya bet look forward to their periodic tishes. The tishes really let the chanichim open up and really sing their hearts out. The achdut, unison, felt at the tish table is truly incredible. The more involved chanichei bet are, the closer they come to reaching the top of the ladder.
